Small jobs are the hardest ones to get done. Individually they are not worth a specialist callout, so they sit on the list. Then a tenant chases, the list gets longer, and what started as ten minutes of work becomes a standing complaint.

Work is booked as a half day or full day, so you get several jobs handled on one visit instead of paying a callout for each.

DOORS, LOCKS AND IRONMONGERY

Doors take more abuse than anything else in a commercial building. Closers fail, hinges drop, locks stick and fire doors stop closing properly, which turns a maintenance job into a compliance one. We adjust, repair and replace closers, hinges, locks, handles and door furniture, and rehang doors that no longer sit square in the frame.

FIXINGS, MOUNTING AND ASSEMBLY

Shelving, screens, whiteboards, signage, dispensers, coat rails and heavy wall units all need fixing into the right substrate to hold. Our commercial handyman teams in London carry the tooling for plasterboard, masonry and stud walls, and assemble desks, storage and office furniture where a delivery has arrived flat-packed.

INTERNAL FABRIC AND FINISHES

Ceiling tiles stain and sag, skirting comes away, partitions get damaged and walls need making good after equipment moves. We patch, refit and repair these areas so the space looks maintained rather than tired. Touch-up decorating and small painting jobs can be included in the same visit.

WASHROOM AND KITCHEN FITTINGS

Soap dispensers, hand dryers, cubicle doors and locks, mirrors, splashbacks, worktops and shelving all fail or work loose over time. We repair and replace them directly. Anything involving the water supply or waste pipework is passed to our plumbing team rather than worked around.

Can work happen outside office hours?

Yes. Evenings and weekends are available where daytime work would disrupt staff, tenants or trading. Noisy jobs such as drilling and fixing are usually best scheduled this way in occupied offices and retail units.

Do you cover several sites under one agreement?

Yes. Rates and booking arrangements are agreed once and applied across the portfolio. Each visit is reported separately, but you deal with one account contact and receive consolidated invoicing rather than invoices arriving per property.

Do you work for facilities management companies?

Regularly. We provide additional capacity for FM providers and larger maintenance contractors across London, working to their reporting formats and site procedures. Unbranded vans are available where the end client relationship requires it.
