We accept the following payment methods

Payment must be made in full upon receipt of the invoice by credit/debit card, cash or cheque
Diagnostic / assessments are chargeable but may be redeemable against further work
Rates and Prices are subject to VAT and will be provided verbally or in writing upon request prior to work commencing
Materials collection for non-stock items is always kept to a minimum and will not exceed 1 hour of the current hourly rate for the relevant service
Invoices and reports are digitally provided. We can provide hard copies upon request (postage fees apply). Your invoice will provide a breakdown of charges for the services provided. The job report will show a full description of the work required, work carried our and any applicable recommendations. All works are supported with photographs before, during and after.

What if I need to cancel?

We offer free cancellations up to 24 hours prior to the confirmed job appointment

Will you fix my issue in the firstvisit?

Every job is different. We have a 95% first time fix rate however there are jobs that require additional visits to resolve. For example, if we find a pipe is collapsed or broken whilst doing a CCTV survey an additional visit may be required to carry out the repair works. Also if we carry out a temporary repair to a leaking tap and a new one is required that is not a stock item then an additional visit may be required to fit this once we can obtain the required stock.

Do you have parts on you?

All of our plumbing and drainage engineers carry the most popular parts and fittings on their vehicles meaning we are ready to assist and resolve issues onsite when needed. No faffing around with trips to and from the builders or plumbers merchants. Sometimes the parts required to complete a job may not be carried as stock. Rest assured, we have long standing relationships with some of the biggest suppliers and can ensure we offer rapid lead times for stock that needs ordering in.

Do you charge for parking?

At the time of booking we'll always ask you for details on parking arrangements. A lot of our jobs typically require parking close to the property to complete the works. Vouchers and permits are always handy. Any parking charges or tickets incurred will be added on to the final invoice for the job.

Whydo drains get blocked?

Typically drains become blocked due to elements of misuse. The most common culprit is fat/oil and grease from kitchen waste. Paper towels, wet wipes and sanitary towels are also common causes. These heavier items get caught up on bends and junctions and slow the passing of sewage. Eventually the accumulation of debris results in a blockage

Can a blocked drain cause damp?

If the drain is in good condition then technically this should not be a source of damp. However if there are any structural issues such as fractures, cracks or displaced joints then this could result is water egress and consequential damage damage. We offer a comprehensive range of CCTV surveys that will assist with identifying any underlying issues with your drains
